Nat Baldwin
Double bassist/singer-songwriter Nat Baldwin's most recent album, 2011's People Changes, is much like the stark Maine setting which it was created. Of course, his fourth full-length shows welcome markings of his experimental bent from years as the Dirty Projectors bassist and former disciple of free jazz legend Anthony Braxton, but the serene isolation of 17 million acres of New England forestland make this cabin-born set intimate and sincere. The album followed A Split EP with Extra Life (2008, Shatter Your Leaves) on which earlier versions of "Weights" and "Lifted" appear, Most Valuable Player (2008), Enter the Winter (2006) and Lights Out EP (2005) on Broken Sparrow Records, and his experimental free jazz debut Solo Contrabass (2003, Peacock Recordings). In addition to Dirty Projectors, Nat Baldwin has performed on Vampire Weekend's Contra and Department of Eagles' In Ear Park. He will tour behind the albums release this spring.

Justin Walter was born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI. His most recent explorations are centered around the Electronic Valve Instrument, a rare wind controlled analog synthesizer. After spending a few years exploring the instrument at home and on the road, he saw two releases for the Life Like label. First was the WALTER double cassette(2012) and then the Dark Matter 12”(2013). His most recent release with this project is Lullabies & Nightmares, out on Kranky May 27, 2013. In addition to developing and releasing his own material, Walter has worked with many bands and artists over the last decade, including Nomo, Iron & Wine, Wild Belle, Sinkane, His Name is Alive, Saturday Looks Good to Me, Skeletons, Megan Byrne, AUNTS, Scott Gwinnell, and Randy Napoleon.

Omhouse is the new musical project from Steven Foster, backed by Evan Cartwright and Ben Harney. Omhouse's music is a combination of tense, harmonically colourful guitar-based rock and adventurous electronic music. After years of cutting his teeth as the drummer/singer/songriter for D+M and The Miles, Steven began touring with Toronto’s Moon King and Montreal’s Doldrums. In March 2012 Omhouse released a home-produced self-titled EP, which has fuelled the first months of the band’s existence. A new full-length album is nearing completion and will be released in Fall 2013. The first video, Gutterbird, features Foster being dragged along gravel roads by an unseen force. This summer will see more videos from the upcoming album, each exploring one of the album’s themes, which include loss of control, masochism and guilt.-
