Look Mom we're on (online streaming) TV!

Egin Kongoli was stalking artists during the festivities we called WL450, and has just completed a lovely video compendium of that lovely weekend. He had so much fun it felt like he was at a number of Wavelengths at the same time, which might explain how it came to be that we are pluralized to "Wavelengths" in this loveable video. http://vimeo.com/4878252 - doc pickles

Wavelength 450 documentary by Egin Kongoli

"After 9 years of constantly bringing a wide variety of music to Toronto audiences, Wavelengths celebrates its birthday with the WL 450 weekend special. With four incredible nights of music one starts to think back to all the years that have passed. What's changed? What's still the same? Bands have slowly yet surely emerged from the Toronto underground into the big leagues now (Broken Social Scene, Final Fantasy to name a few) and yet one question still remains in my mind. What makes Toronto such an incredible city for artistic talent? Why are we blessed with such a rich and eclectic music and art scene? With hopes to try and get to the core of the question I went to the WL 450 weekend and tried to discover for myself what makes Toronto so unique, and what has made Wavelengths the unbelievable success that it has become."
