Some friends and I were all gonna go up for the Pop Montreal fest (which makes the Toronto festivals look like Emergenza, the rip-off Battle of the Band shows where people pay $20 to see their friends suck on stage). But going through the line-up, I decided not to go, seeing that every band is from Toronto. And if they're not from Toronto, they are playing Toronto the days before or after. Ben Gunning, best known for his mind-blowing falsetto voice, pensive lyrics and blistering guitar solos with the Local Rabbits, is following in the footsteps of another Rabbit gone solo, Peter Elkas (Maple Music Recordings).
