We're Marching On want you to have a good time. They know that you had a bad day at work and your boss thinks you're after his job. They saw your boyfriend with that other girl and they don't like it either. Who does she think she is, anyway, wearing a skirt like that in this weather? She'll get hers and you'll get yours. All you need to do is drink a beer and clap your hands; We're Marching On will make it all better.

INTRODUCE WE'RE MARCHING ON.

We are all from Guelph or quite near there. We are Steve on guitarz, Tim on guitarz, Ryan on keyboardz and Steve on drumz (skinz). For this show we will be joined by our friend Chris who will play the Randomizer.

THERE ARE A NUMBER OF BANDS BASING THEIR ACTS ON LIVE ENERGY AND GROUP SHOUT ANTHEMS '” I'M THINKING OF THE HANK COLLECTIVE, HENRI FABERGE AND THE ADORABLES, AND THE GHOST IS DANCING, TO NAME A FEW '” IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THE 'œSPAZZ'? BAND IS ALMOST BECOMING A GENRE. ARE YOU A SPAZZ BAND? WHY DO YOU THINK THE 'œSPAZZ'? FORMAT IS POPULAR?

Part two: People like to have a good time. You can call that whatever. We just want to rock. And we might not have the longest attention spans in this band so we might come across as hyper. We want people to enjoy themselves and get something out of it. They should do what they want and be happy about it. If you create something that's wild and free and totally out in the open you allow people to enter into that however they feel is best for them. Confusion and hyperactivity are great levelers in music because it's all about truthful reaction in the moment. We're happy to add to the mess 'cause right now we know no other way.

MEANWHILE, MUSIC BLOGGER, ANDREW ROSE BELIEVES WE'RE MARCHING ON IS PART OF AN EMERGING CANADIAN 'œINDIE-GOSPEL'? SOUND ALONG WITH ARCADE FIRE, WOLF PARADE, AND THE HIDDEN CAMERAS. DO THESE BANDS REPRESENT A PARTICULARLY CANADIAN SOUND, AND ARE YOU PART OF THAT?

Fuck. Yes. We formed our band after those bands made it big. We also would like to make it big.
