With an election looming in the fall, it seems that John Tory is trying to woo the arts community with a promise to increase funding to the Ontario Arts Council by $15 million by 2009/2010 and impelement tax relief for full-time artists. It'll be interesting to see if this sparks any movement on the Liberal side of the fence.
