Summerworks Theatre & Music Festival

Every August some of the best indie theatre in the city can be seen at the Summerworks Theatre Festival.

This juried festival shows you some of the best actors, directors, playwrights and production crews working in Toronto's theatre community.

This year the festival is adding a great mini-music festival to the celebration. Happening each night of the festival at 10:30pm at The Theatre Centre (1087 Queen St. W.) the Summerworks Music Series will be showcasing performances from much loved Toronto musicians and bands including: Bob Wiseman, The Two Koreas, Gentleman Reg, The Bicycles, The Diableros, Rural Alberta Advantage, Rock Plaza Central, Laura Barrett and a bunch more.
