Scott Cudmore is an awesome music video director here in Toronto. I just found out he's created this web/TV series called "Camera Music" for BITE TV and the AUX website. Go and watch it right now! He's filmed really intimate performances with Brian Borcherdt (of Holy Fuck), Ohbijou, The Wooden Sky and I'm sure there's more coming. It's similar to the French site Blogotheque and their "Concerts-a-emporter" but more than just live music in unconventional settings, Camera Music is like a stylized home video made by the band and their friends. And while you're watching these music films you should probably also check out Scott's other work and then tell everyone about it. Oh, and also check out his video collaborations with Toronto poet and sometime musician Spencer Butt in the series, "My Name Is Scientist": also fantastic visually and aurally.
