Soundcheck - Created & Shot by Colin Medley

I only met Colin for the first time last night watching Le Cyc at The Tranzac, but I’ve seen most of his Soundcheck series. Soundcheck features black and white videos of live performances of local Toronto bands and musicians as well groups from beyond our city.

Following in the footsteps of sites like Blogotheque’s Take Away Shows, Daytrotter, local filmmaker Scott Cudmore’s Camera Music and other, Soundcheck gives you intimate and off-the-cuff performances with bands like The Constantines, Ohbijou, Bruce Peninsula, Spiral Beach, Cadence Weapon, Shad, Elliot Brood and more.
