Toronto's Images Festival kicks off its 22nd annual festival tonight with a gala event at the Isabel Bader Theatre featuring a collaborative performance between five Canadian film makers and the Continuum music ensemble performing the film scores live.

Wavelength co-presents the Images Festival closing gala with Cloud Eye Control and Ammo Factory on April 11th at the Theatre Centre (check out the event listings for full details), but between now and then there is a ton of great stuff to check out, from screening programs of international video art to live multi-media performance events to off-site installation work. Images Festival events happen at a variety of theatres and galleries so be sure to pick up the program guide (found at cafes, video shops, galleries, etc.) or check out their website for full festival listings.
