The spooky season is upon our doorstep, kids, just like the creepy reanimated son from the Monkey's Paw tale. We at Wavelength have not one but TWO Halloween parties this year, our own scary shindig on Actual Halloween Night at the Monarch, and we're also lending an Evil Dead severed hand to Ghost Hole, the annual "Haunted Art Show" taking place at our beloved Artscape Gibraltar Point on Toronto Island on the preceding Saturday, Oct. 26th.

A real community barn-burning, Ghost Hole V is the result of the efforts of many hard-working, creative volunteers, and they need to raise some of that truly evil stuff - money - in order to make this year's event happen. To that end, there's a Ghost Hole Fundraiser tonight (Oct. 4th) at Double Double Land and it's going to be a blast! Truly wicked bands performing include: Fresh Flesh, Dr. Ew (of the Bicycles fame), Wake Island (WL pals from Montreal who played WL560 at Soybomb), Chrymes and N'Awlins-style party-starters Rambunctious.
