Calling All Volunteers!!

Do you love music and meeting awesome new people? Then we want to hear from you!

We're looking for volunteers to help us out with our upcoming Wavelength Music Festival, taking place February 13-15, 2015. This is a great opportunity to engage with the music community and lend emerging Canadian artists a hand!

Duties/Skills required: Assist the Wavelength staff in providing friendly festival-goer support and front-of-house duties. Roles to be assigned will include:

-Box office attendants
-Merch table attendants
-Green room attendants
-Flyering
-Gear moving
-General runners
** Must be comfortable talking to new people, occasional heavy lifting, and being on your feet for stretches of time.

We are also accepting applications from writers to join our team of band interviewers!

Since Wavelength was founded in 2000, we have shone the spotlight on the artists playing our live series through illuminating, irreverent interviews - originally published in our monthly print 'zine, a tradition that now continues online on our Wavelog.

Writers will be asked to contact artists and conduct email (or phone/in-person) interviews in addition to minimal copywriting. A fun and easy way to get involved with Wavelength. Creativity and irreverence are encouraged!

If you are available and interested in volunteering with Wavelength, please email: Dorice Tepley c/o volunteer@wavelengthtoronto.com Please attach a resume when responding and let us know why you're keen to help out! If you are applying to write for us, please specify and attach one example of relevant writing.

Thank you!
