We've just announced the first wave of artists performing at Camp Wavelength, our new festival launching on Toronto Island the final weekend of August, 2015. The first wave of announcements is an all-Canadian who's who of innovators from across the independent music scene, including: beloved rock collective The Wooden Sky, 20-year post-rock veterans Do Make Say Think, critically buzzing folk-pop artistThe Weather Station ("the best folk album of the year" says The Fader), tribal psych-pop sibling trio Doomsquad, experimental trance-rock band Absolutely Free (creating a special sound installation with Petrina Ng for this event), Vancouver ambient music maestro Loscil, and Montreal Congolese electro-pop artist Pierre Kwenders.
